Moore's Mill Creek Stream Restoration
 

Moore’s Mill Creek is an urban stream in Auburn (begins near airport and flows through Moore’s Mill Creek Golf Club community and on to Saugahatchee Creek) that is heavily impacted by sediment from eroding streambanks. A restoration project with the following goals is underway:
 
Project Goals:
         Reduce Bank Erosion
         Reduce Sedimentation
         Improve Water Quality
         Improve Stream Habitat
         Improve Riparian Buffer
         Increase Water Oxygen Content
         Provide Educational Opportunities
         Establish an Auburn Business Partners for Clean Water Program (designed to educate, build partnerships, and provide positive public relations with local businesses working for clean water)
