The Bylaws of the Alabama Clean Water Partnership establish the following:

• The number of directors shall not be less than seven, nor greater than twenty-one.



• One Director shall be designated to serve by each of the following organizations (due to the fact that the Alabama Clean Water Partnership project is an extension of the federal Clean Water Action Plan, which designated responsibility of the project to the Alabama Department of Environmental Management and the Natural Resources Conservation Service, and their state counterpart):

  James M. (Jim) Moore, III*
  
  Natural Resources Conservation Service -
  Robert N. Jones
  
  Alabama Soil & Water Conservation Committee -
  Steve Cauthen*



• One resentative from each CWP River Basin Group, elected by that Basin Steering Committee.



• At least five at-large members to be elected by the Directors, who are intended to provide representation on the Board of Directors from the key organizations in the State of Alabama having an interest in the restoration, protection, management and enhancement of the various river basins and aquatic ecosystems in the state of Alabama.
