Kellie Johnston, Black Warrior River CWP Facilitator

In January of 2002, Kellie Johnston was hired by Cawaco Resource Conservation & Development Council to facilitate the Black Warrior Clean Water Partnership for the Alabama Clean Water Partnership.  In 2007, she took on the additional role of facilitator for the Cahaba River Clean Water Partnership.  Kellie holds a Bachelors of Science in Accounting and a Masters of Environmental Science, both from Samford University.  Prior to joining the Alabama Clean Water Partnership team, Kellie was employed by Samford University as the Assistant Director of Budget & Audit at Alabama's largest private university.   As Facilitator, Kellie has worked with stakeholders in several watersheds in coordinating grant proposal, administering projects and developing watershed management plans. Currently, she has completed 10 watershed management plans for ADEM and has written grants in excess of $4 million benefitting Alabama communities.
