Throughout the state the Alabama Clean Water Partnership has helped establish water festivals for students.
Dedicated volunteers have been insuring that schools across Alabama have had learning experiences that will last a lifetime. Each festival is unique. Whether students are mesmerized by magic shows, enjoying the sun on the lakeshore, making bracelets or eating ice cream, there are lessons in every aspect of the day. Filtration, aquifers, water cycle, litter, kayak safety, wetlands, aquatic life and water conservation are some of the topics presented at our festivals. All students leave having experienced a fun day of hands-on learning!
